About Ria van Rooijen...
After being trained as a physiotherapist and medical doctor Ria was asked to specialize in Sports and Exercise Medicine.

She worked in her own clinic SportsMedicine Woerden and among others at the Army, the Royal Dutch Soccer Association, the Royal Dutch Sport Shooting Association, the Utrecht Marathon and as a team physician for the equestrian team at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Meanwhile, she learned a lot from her sons and her training at the Autism Treatment Center of America amongst other learnings and experiences. And that was not enough to help patients and clients, as she experienced. Integrative medicine brought a new perspective, but also something was missing.

Marco Wiegers brought the idea of EMMETT Technique to her, like Ross Emmett himself did when visiting the Netherlands in 2014. Then all fell into place.
Ria was trained by Regi Scherrer and Ross Emmett himself in EMMETT Technique and asked to become an instructor and co-representative for the Netherlands and Belgium with Marco Wiegers.

She is a qualified Advanced practitioner and also an EMM-Tech Tutor working together with Marco Wiegers in their clinic EMMETT Centrum Nederland where they offer personalized combinations of integrative medicine, physiotherapy and EMMETT Technique.

Both can do their work using the Dutch, English and German language. Ria also uses the French language.

Their clients and patients often experience great relief and relaxation from pain or restricted movements. Marco and Ria welcome your inquiries for treatments or EMM-Tech training for individuals, groups or the workplace.
